Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Whoopzo (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit our website and play our games, and how we use it. We keep data to the minimum needed to run the site.

Information stored on your device

You can play without an account. To save your progress, best scores and settings (such as sound on or off), our games store small amounts of data in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device; you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Accounts (optional)

You can create a free account to keep your progress on every device and appear on leaderboards. You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email address; we never ask for a password.

• What we store: your email address (or the email and first name your Google account shares with us), a player name, username and cartoon avatar, your best scores and recent results, and your game saves.
• What other players see: only your player name, username, avatar, scores and ranks. Your email address is never shown.
• Guest play: “Play as guest” creates an anonymous account without an email. If you later sign in, your guest progress moves into your account. Guest accounts that have not been used for a while are deleted.
• Who handles it for us: account data is stored with our database provider, Supabase. Sign-in emails are sent through Brevo. The site runs on Cloudflare, and Google handles sign-in if you choose it. Each processes data only to provide that service.
• Deleting it: you can delete your account at any time on the Account page. This removes your profile, scores and saves.

Information we collect

• Basic technical information that every website receives, such as your browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.
• Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (for example which games are popular) to improve our games.
• If you email us, your email address and message, used only to reply to you.

Advertising and cookies

To keep our games free, we may show advertising from Google and its partners. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before such cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Children

Our games are suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Contact us at support@whoopzo.com and we will help.
