About Sky Hopper

Sky Hopper is a one-tap flying game starring a round little bird with a spinning propeller cap. Every tap gives a flap of the wings and a short hop upwards; stop tapping and gravity pulls you back down. Your job is to guide the bird through the gaps between striped candy poles for as long as you can, under a twilight sky with a glowing moon, twinkling stars and rolling purple hills drifting by. Each pole you pass is worth a point, and shiny gold stars float in some of the gaps for a bonus, but grabbing one means flying right through the middle of the gap, so they are a tempting risk. The controls could not be simpler, yet the timing takes real skill: the poles come faster and the gaps get a little narrower as your score rises, and every gap sits at a different height, so you have to read ahead and keep your rhythm steady. Bump into a pole or touch the ground and the flight is over, though once per game you can watch a short ad to continue from where you crashed with the way ahead cleared. Sky Hopper is free to play in your browser on phones, tablets and computers: tap the screen, click the mouse or press Space or the up arrow to flap. Your best score and the total number of stars you have collected are saved automatically, so there is always a new record to chase.
