Sweet Shop Tycoon puts you behind the counter of a little Indian mithai shop just before Diwali, when the whole town wants sweets. The kitchen along the back wall makes laddoos by itself. You carry them to the glass counters, customers walk in and take what they came for, and you take their money at the till. Coins pile up on the counter, and you spend them by standing on the glowing price spots on the floor. Open new kitchens one by one: jalebi, samosa, barfi, gulab jamun and finally kaju katli, each dearer than the last and each bringing in more people. Hire a cashier so the till looks after itself, then helpers who carry sweets from the kitchen to the counters while you do something else. Buy a bigger tray to carry more at once and quicker feet to get round the shop faster. Put up Diwali lights, draw a rangoli at the door, hang paper lanterns and a grand toran, and watch the crowd grow with every decoration. Fourteen goals guide you from your very first laddoo to a shop ready for Diwali, and each one pays a coin bonus. After that, faster kitchens and fancy gift boxes keep the coins rising, and the leaderboard ranks everyone by how much their shop has earned. Your shop is saved as you play, so you can come back to it any time. Sweet Shop Tycoon plays free in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer: drag to walk on a touch screen, or use the arrow keys, with no download and no account needed.
Walk with the arrow keys or WASD, or drag anywhere on the shop on a touch screen. Stand next to a kitchen at the back to pick up the sweets it has made, then stand next to the glass counter with the same name to put them out. Customers take sweets and queue at the till: stand on the green mat behind the counter to take their money, and walk past the counter to scoop up the coins. Stand on a price spot on the floor to spend coins on what it shows. Follow the yellow arrow if you are not sure what to do next.
Keep the glass counters stocked and the till staffed. Every customer who finds their sweet and pays adds coins to the pile on the counter, and you collect it by walking past. Dearer sweets like gulab jamun and kaju katli earn the most.
Open the jalebi kitchen, then a bigger tray and the cashier. With a cashier you no longer have to stand at the till, so you can spend all your time restocking. The yellow arrow always points at the next goal.
Helpers walk between the kitchens and the counters and restock whichever sweet is running lowest. You can hire up to three, and the shop then nearly runs itself.
They waited too long at an empty counter. Keep every counter you have opened stocked, or hire helpers, and buy quicker feet so you can get round faster.
Lights, a rangoli, lanterns and a grand toran each bring customers in more often and let more of them into the shop at once.
