About Car Park Escape

Car Park Escape is a traffic puzzle about one simple question: which car can leave first? The car park is jammed with cars and small trucks, and every one has an arrow on its roof showing the only way it can drive. Tap a car and it heads off along its arrow. If the road to the edge is clear, it drives out onto the ring road and is gone. If anything is in the way, another car, a concrete pillar or a planter, it rolls forward, bumps into it with a honk and rolls back, and you lose one of your three lives. So the trick is to look before you tap: follow each arrow to the edge, find the cars that are free, and work out which ones that frees up next. Early car parks are small and gentle, with a handful of cars, so you can learn how the arrows work. Later ones fill a big lot with thirty cars or more, long trucks that block a whole row, and pillars that stay put, and the cars have to leave in a long chain where getting the order wrong costs you. There are forty levels, and every one is checked when it is made to be sure it can be cleared without a single bump. Clear a car park with no bumps for three stars. If you get stuck, the hint button lights up a car that can go. Car Park Escape plays free in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with one tap per move, no timer and no download.

How to play

Each car can only drive the way its arrow points. Tap or click a car to send it: if the road ahead of it to the edge of the car park is clear, it drives out. If another car, a pillar or a planter is in the way, it bumps into it, rolls back and you lose a life. Clear every car to finish the level. You have three lives per level. Press the light bulb (or H) to see a car that can go now.

Questions

How do I know which car can go?īŧ‹

Follow its arrow in a straight line to the edge of the car park. If nothing is on that line, the car can leave. Look for those first, then check which cars they were blocking.

What happens if I tap a car that is blocked?īŧ‹

It drives up to whatever is in its way, bumps it, and rolls back to where it was. That costs one of your three lives. Lose all three and you start the level again.

Can every level be solved?īŧ‹

Yes. Every one of the forty car parks is checked when it is made, so there is always an order that gets every car out without a single bump.

How do I get three stars?īŧ‹

Clear the car park without any bumps. One bump still earns two stars, and two bumps earn one.

Is there a hint?īŧ‹

Yes. The light bulb button, or the H key, makes a car that can leave right now glow for a few seconds.

Is there a time limit?īŧ‹

No. Take as long as you like to look at the car park before you tap. Only bumps count against you.
